Expansion of QAC analytical method with 3 ATAC compounds

We support you with high quality analyses on quaternary ammonium compounds (or QAC)On demand of the market we have expanded our QAC analysis method offer with 3 extra compounds: ATAC-C12 (dodecyltrimethylammonium chloride), ATAC-C14 (tetradecyltrimethylammonium chloride) and ATAC-C16 (hexadecyltrimethylammonium chloride).

These compounds are included in the EU legislation with a standard maximum residue limit of 0,01 mg/kg, which applies to the sum of the individual compounds. This expanded method has also a new name: QAC2_01_A .

Use of QAC

QAC have surface active properties and are being used in different applications like preserving agents, antistatic agents and disinfectants. The use of ATAC as a pesticide is not allowed in the EU.
